Planning & Preparation
During this phase of the implementation process, the Sales team works with you to determine you practice's software needs. After you purchase OfficeMate/ExamWRITER, you are assigned an Implementation Coordinator to start planning and preparing to implement your new software. The tasks that you will complete during this phase are outlined below:
- Review the OfficeMate/ExamWRITER system specifications and ensure that your computer hardware meets these specifications. If you are unsure about whether your systems meet the minimum requirements, or if you're considering purchasing hardware or hardware support, Eyefinity recommends that you contact the following hardware partners:
- Install OfficeMate/ExamWRITER. If you need help installing your new software, contact Customer Care.
- Convert your data from your previous practice management system, if necessary.
- Purchase and set up any desired OfficeMate Certified Products, including barcode scanners and printers, ExamWRITER equipment interfaces, the ExamWRITER ePrescribing Interface, the OfficeMate VSP Interface, and lab interfaces.
