OfficeMate & ExamWRITER Virtual Users' Group Meeting Recap
By all accounts, the 2009 OfficeMate & ExamWRITER Virtual Users' Group Meeting was a huge success. Although the Education department hosted two previous Users' Group Meetings in years' past, 2009 was the first year that the meeting was held entirely online through one-hour WebEx courses. 335 offices pre-registered for one or more of the 86 online meetings and an incredible 3,019 attendees participated in the classes!
The Virtual Users' Group Meeting began with the "Eyefinity/OfficeMate State of the Company" course, hosted by Eyefinity/OfficeMate's executive leaders - JimMcGrann, Ed Buffington, and Steve Baker. Moderators and presenters from around the country, including Oregon, California, Arizona, Ohio, and Texas, instructed the 23 other classes that were taught during the week. The Eyefinity/OfficeMate Salem, Ohio, office operated as the "Command Center" during the week, fielding phone calls and ensuring that the meeting ran smoothly, which it did. In addition to the courses that were taught, select vendors demonstrated their Technology Integrated Practice (TIP) products with VP of Sales, John Lee, moderating the one-hour long demonstrations.
