Christine Featsent, Training Specialist
With her five years of retail optical experience, Christine brings a very relevance-based approach to client training. Located in our Salem, Ohio, office, Christine delivers a comfortable, fun training experience.
Diane Clark, Implementation Trainer
Diane is a 30-year veteran of the optical industry and has held such positions as optical lab manager, general manager, and licensed optician within independent optometric practices and retail optical dispensaries. Diane joined Eyefinity/OfficeMate in 2000 and is based in Ontario, Canada.
Kathleen Ewing, Training Specialist
Prior to joining Eyefinity/OfficeMate in 2007, Kathy worked for 12 years in ophthalmology holding such positions as patient advisor, refractive coordinator, optometric liaison, and marketing assistant. Kathy also worked in an independent optometric practice as an optometric assistant and patient educator. To supplement her hands-on experience, Kathleen became a certified ophthalmic assistant in 1996. She currently works in our Salem, Ohio, training center.
Katie Veety, Implementation Trainer
Katie joined Eyefinity/OfficeMate in 2007 and operates from her Pennsylvania home office. Prior to joining us Katie, was the Administrator for Northeastern Eye Institute, a 22 location practice offering ophthalmology, optometry, optical services, and a surgical center. Katie is currently studying for her Certified Paraoptometric certification.
Marsha Vaughn, Training Manager
Marsha came to Eyefinity/OfficeMate in 2005 with over thirty years of experience in the ophthalmic industry. Marsha's prior experience includes roles within both commercial and independent ophthalmic businesses. She is an American Board of Opticianry certified optician and certified by the National Contact Lens Examiners to dispense contact lenses. Marsha and her team of Training Specialists develop and present the prerecorded video tutorials and the live instructor-led courses.
Mary Bohlen, Training Specialist
Mary joined Eyefinity/OfficeMate after working 16 years in the medical customer care industry. Mary operates from her Georgia home office. During her tenure with us Mary, worked in the Eyefinity/OfficeMate Customer Care division and joined the Training Department in 2008.
Mary Kay Melvin, Training Specialist
Mary Kay has over 15 years of experience in the ophthalmic industry. In addition to her years of experience, Mary Kay achieved American Board of Opticianry certification, became National Contact Lens Examiners certified, and is licensed to dispense spectacles and contact lenses in the State of Ohio. She currently works in our Salem, Ohio, training center.
Michelle Bonacci, Training Specialist
Michelle joined Eyefinity/OfficeMate with four years of experience using the OfficeMate Suite in an independent optometric practice. Michelle's ‘ real world' experience ensures her training sessions are filled with hands-on tips to ensure your success. Michelle is based in the Salem, Ohio, office.
Phernell Walker, ABOM, Implementation Trainer
Phernell is a Master in Ophthalmic Optics and is board certified by the National Contact Lens Examiners. Prior to joining Eyefinity/OfficeMate, Phernell was Vice President of operations for a retail optical chain for 14 years; authored the optical text book Pure Optics, and served as a faculty member for the American Association of Dispensing Ophthalmologists. Phernell works from his Texas home office.
Rebecca Johnson, CPOT, COT, COE, Director of Training
Rebecca has 26 years experience in the ophthalmic field and has achieved certifications as an ophthalmic technician, paraoptometric technician, and an ophthalmic executive. Prior to joining Eyefinity/OfficeMate, Rebecca owned and operated an ophthalmic training and staff development consulting company. Rebecca has acted as director and instructor of a CoA-OMP-accredited ophthalmic assistant program at Carver Career and Technical College and also as director of training at the Virginia Eye Institute. Rebecca is a published author and was the editor of the third edition of The Self Study Course for Paraoptometric Certification.
Rhonda Regguinti, Training Specialist
Rhonda's entry into the ophthalmic industry dates back to a part-time position she held while attending high school and college in an independent optometric practice. In 1993 Rhonda joined a practice management software company, and fulfilled such roles as customer service representative, software systems tester, software support representative, and electronic claims trainer. Rhonda joined Eyefinity/OfficeMate when RLISYS was acquired in 2006 and is currently based in our Peoria, Illinois, office.
Robin Berger, Training Specialist
Robin joined Eyefinity/OfficeMate in 2000 with an A.S. in Computer Information Systems. She has honed her skills to meet the needs of her clients in customer care, technical support, and training for the eye care industry. Robin is a valued member of our team based in Rancho Cordova, California.
Shari Hurst, Implementation Trainer
Shari joined Eyefinity/OfficeMate in 2009. However, Shari has spent most of her life in the optical business fulfilling roles such as front desk coordinator, contact lens technician, optometric technician, ophthalmic dispenser, lab technician, and vice president of training and client services manager. Shari is based in her home office in North Carolina.
Valerie Manso, Implementation Trainer
Valerie joined the Eyefinity/OfficeMate Education Department with over 35 years of experience in the ophthalmic industry encompassing positions such as licensed optician, retail store manager, district manager, national training and development manager, director of lens consultants, director of marketing, and vice president of retail operations. Valerie works from her Northern California home office.
