Q25512 - FIX: ExamWRITER Exams are Not Printing

If you are unable to print exams in ExamWRITER, but you are able to print other documents in OfficeMate, following the instructions below to associate exam documents (RTF files) with a program (ex., Microsoft Word or WordPad) from which you can successfully print exams. Be sure to share this information with your certified operating and network technician.

  1. Navigate to the OMATE32 or OfficeMate folder on the computer or server from which you are unable to print ExamWRITER exams.
  2. Right-click on the EWExam.rtf file.
  3. Select Open With.
  4. Select Choose Program.
  5. Select WordPad.
  6. Select the Always use the selected program to open this kind of file check box.
  7. Click OK
