Q25113 - INFO: Office Manager Responsiblities for Achieving Meaningful Use with OfficeMate/ExamWRITER

Use the checklist at www.officemate.net/pdfs/OfficeManagerMUChecklist.pdf as a helpful reminder tool for office managers in your practice to help you achieve meaningful use and be eligible for incentive money. Remember that you must meet all core measures and five of the ten menu set measures, one of which must be MSM objective 9 (submitting electronic data to immunization registries) or MSM objective 10 (submitting electronic syndromic surveillance data). Note that a permissible exclusion can count as having met the objective.

This checklist is organized by the practice role (office manager) that we anticipate being responsible for meeting the core and menu set measures. Because multiple roles might be responsible for meeting the measures, many of the measures listed are also listed in other checklists. This document includes check boxes for you to select when the office manager has met the measures. We recommend that you print copies of this checklist and keep it near all of the computers in your office on which office managers work. For detailed instructions on completing the core and menu set measures in OfficeMate and ExamWRITER, see the “Achieving Meaningful Use with OfficeMate/ExamWRITER” document at http://www.officemate.net/pdfs/AchievingMeaningfulUse.pdf.
