The OfficeMate Change .INI Utility changes the location of your OfficeMate database and updates your OMATE.INI file’s data directory.

If you are using a Microsoft SQL database with the OfficeMate Suite, read the instructions in the Using the Change INI Utility with SQL Database.pdf document attached to this article to run the utility.

To determine your database type, perform the following steps:

1.    Open OfficeMate or ExamWRITER.

2.    Click Help.

3.    Click About OfficeMate, About ExamWRITER, or About Administration, depending upon which software you have open.
The About window opens.

4.    Look for the Database information to determine the database type.
