If you receive OfficeMate VSP Interface error PMIO9001, "A severe error was encountered processing your request. Please Call the IDC Help Desk," check your computer system's date format. The date format should be mm/dd/yyyy. If the date format is m/d/yyyy, follow the instructions below to change the format to the correct one:

Windows XP Professional

1. Click Start.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Control Panel.
4. Select Regional and Language Options.
5. Click the Customize button.
6. Click the Date tab.
7. Select MM/DD/yyyy from the Short date format drop-down menu.
8. Click OK.
9. Click OK again.

Windows Vista & Windows 7

1. Click Start.
2. Select Control Panel.
3. Select Clock, Language, and Region.
4. Select Change the date, time, or number format.
5. Select MM/dd/yyyy from the Short date format drop-down menu.
6. Click OK.
7. Click OK again.
