Q10103 - HOWTO: Running the Repair Utility

If the Eyefinity/OfficeMate Customer Care team instructs you to run the Repair Utility on your computer to repair your OfficeMate Suite database, complete the instructions below:

Note: You must be using the OfficeMate Suite with a Microsoft Access (not Microsoft SQL) database to run this utility.

  1. Close OfficeMate and all other applications on all computers.
  2. Back up all of your data!
  3. Navigate to the C:\OMATE32 on your server (or workstation if you are using a dedicated server).
  4. Double-click Repair.exe.
    The Repair Warning window opens.
  5. Click Yes to begin the database repair process.
  6. Click Repair.
    Your database is repaired.
    Note: If you encounter an error while running the Repair Utility, call the Customer Care team at 1.800.942.5353.
  7. Click Close.
  8. If you are using the OfficeMate Suite with a Microsoft Access (not Microsoft SQL) database and the Customer Care team instructed you to run the OM Integrity Update Utility, run that now; otherwise, you can now resume using the OfficeMate Suite.
